Calling teenagers who are building portfolios and completing college home tests, the Pelham Art Center will be offering great opportunities. Wednesday evening Donna Ross will be teaching Portfolio Prep with Executive Director, Charlotte Mouquin joining every other class to discuss portfolios, experiences, and careers in the arts.
Portfolio Development will also be offered Thursday afternoons with Sylvia Vigliani which will emphasize original artwork, individual consultations, and documentation. The Pelham Art Center is also looking to build its teen volunteer program this coming fall.
The Pelham Art Center offers classes for people of all ages! There is a My Buddy & Me class on Wednesday mornings for little ones ages 1-3. Pre-K classes such as Art Stars with Fiona Hopkins on Thursdays after school for ages 3-6, Mixed Media on Saturdays and Nature & Art classes on Mondays are for ages 6-9 taught by Kat Sayegh. There is a special class for seniors ages 65+ (that class is free) and for everyone in between! The Pelham Art Center keeps classes as affordable as possible.
